What to Expect
STEMQuest is more than just a class—it’s an adventure into the limitless possibilities of science, technology, engineering, and math. Here’s what students can look forward to:
Beginner Coding (5 PM):
Perfect for those new to programming, this session starts with Scratch, a visual, block-based coding language that builds confidence and understanding of coding principles. As the class progresses, students transition to Python, one of the most versatile and beginner-friendly programming languages.
Intermediate Coding (7 PM):
For students with some prior coding experience, this session delves deeper into Python, enhancing existing knowledge and exploring advanced concepts. Students will also be introduced to additional programming languages, giving them a broader skill set for future projects.
Beginner Modeling (4 PM):
In this class, students will focus on small, creative projects that allow them to explore the basics of 3D modeling and design. These projects are perfect for building foundational skills while fostering creativity and attention to detail.
Intermediate Modeling (6 PM):
Intermediate students will work on more involved, collaborative projects that span multiple weeks. These larger endeavors are designed to teach teamwork, project management, and problem-solving while deepening their modeling expertise.
